Pin-spirational - #247 Autumn
Polkadoodles - #37 AAG
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Embossing
Tuesday Throwdown - #440 Pile It On

I finally got my hands on this embossing folder that I fell in love with after seeing a plethora of cards made with it on Pinterest. It's made by a UK Company called Apple Blossom and I found it on the website of a popular craft supplier called Craft Stash in the UK. The folder is called "THAT All Occasion" embossing folder and it was originally included as a freeby that was offered by a popular craft magazine over there a couple years ago and was a super big hit!

I embossed 3 different colors of paper and then fussy cut each one to make a
tri-colored card. I cut the base of the wreath with the smaller die from Anna Griffin's Wreath and Bow dies, and with the left over 6 papers, I punched a bunch of branches (about 10 ea color) using Martha Stewarts branch punch and glued each one to the base to make the wreath and added a bow.

I added a bunch of pearls from my stash and an autumn sentiment sticker from Michaels. You can't see it very well, but that pumpkin is a puffy pumpkin sticker also from Michaels.

That's it for today, hope you enjoyed stoppin' by!
Thanks to all the challengers above for lettin' me play along.

I saw a version of this card on Pinterest and fell in love with it and these dies. They're from Tonic Studios and are the Memory Book Maker Layered Cascade Dies and the largest die is huge, 7 1/4" x 8". But my favorite is this scalloped die. The door and wreath dies are from Anna Griffin from the Christmas Wreath Set, The pumpkins and leaves are stickers from Michaels, the lights are a lamp post die that I just cut the post off and the corn stalks I can't remember what brand it is. The die under the senti is #3 Spellbinders scalloped oval die and the senti is from Close to My Heart the Autumn Splendor set. The brick paper is a digi download I got off of Etsy and printed out.

This is another cutey I colored from The Paper Shelter called Autumn is Coming!

The decorative hinge mechanism is also from Anna Griffin. Oops! Not centered very well is it!

That's it for today, hope you enjoyed stoppin' by!

The Paper Shelter - #395 Back to School

I found this cute rectangle box die by Pink & Main on the Dies R Us website after seeing it used by Darlene Pavlick from Double D Challenges who is also on the design team for Dies R Us and thought it would make a cute back to school box card.

Most of the images are clip art that I found online and printed out.

The dies didn't come with a shadow layer die so I made my own by tracing around the outside of the dies and fusey cutting them.

This little cutey is a digi stamp from The Paper Shelter that I colored and is called "Learning is Fun".

I also added a piece of card stock to the back side of the box to extend it so I could add the bigger images and also reinforce it.

I can't remember where I got the 2 design papers from, but it came in a pak of
6 or 8 different designs.

Hope you enjoyed stoppin' by!
Thanks to all the challengers above for lettin' me play along.

New Foam Flowers!

Hi blogger friends!

I have a card to share today that features a new technique where the flowers are made from, what they're calling, foam paper.

Entering in these challenges:

Allsorts - #534-5 Feminine
Cardz4 Galz - #227 Wings
Crafty Creations - #396 AAG
Crafty Friends - #117 Add Embellishments
Creatalicious - #169 Add Sparkle
Digi Choosday - #34 AAG

Double D - Pearls/Gems
Penny's - #444 AAG
Polkadoodles - #34 AAG
QKR Stampede - #360 AAG (Won Top 5!)

I got this card kit from Paper Wishes, and it's a monthly box kit put out by Crafter's Companion, and it revolves around the flower dies and the flowers cut from the foam paper. Once the flowers are cut out, you heat the foam with a either a heat gun or I used a craft iron, and you shape it with a metal ball stylus tool or your fingers and once the foam cools, it keeps that shape. Pretty fun, new technique. You can watch how to form the flowers here. The kit makes 18 cards and everything is included to make a complete card. You can see what's in the box here. All except that fuzzy looking paper under the printed paper. That is Mulberry paper and another technique I got from Bonny Garby which you can go here to watch on Youtube.

I found these pearl butterfly and dragonfly in my stash and had to include them.

That's it for today, hope you enjoyed stoppin' by!

This is another Pull Up/Slider card but this time made in hot pink that I made for, and am sending to, Anna Griffin for her birthday. I embellished this one quite a bit more adding more elements to the back and even the bottom. The corner die on the bottom I made into a pocket to include a note.

- The base was made from Anna's Pull Up Card Dies
- Most if the die elements are from Tonic Studio
- The records were made from a circle punch and dies
- The front sentis are older stamps from Stampin' Up
- The back senti is a wood stamp from Make An Impression that I was surprised to notice that the fonts were practically the same! That was fun!
- The corner die is from Heartfelt Creations
- The black border, swirls and small stars are stickers from Dazzles

Waterfall Card!

Hey crafty friends!

I have a waterfall card to share today.

Entering in these challenges:

Crafty Gal Corner - #197 3+ Layers
Crafty Sentiments - AG
Creative Moments - #173 AAG
Digi Choosday - #31 AAG
Double D - Birthday
Polkadoodles - #30 AAG
The Paper Shelter - #393 AG

Wow! I have been on a birthday card roll lately and this one is my 4th in a row.

This was made from a waterfall card kit from Crafter's Companion that I got on HSN, but I believe is now sold out, but they actually have it on sale on the US Crafter's Companion website for $8.49. Which is really a good buy because you get 4 ea of 6 patterns, which is 24 cards, that comes out to .35 a card. If your like me and add the 6.95 shpg, (+ 6.95 = 15.44 / 24) comes out to .64 a card, which is still a pretty good deal I think. And you get everything you need in the kit to make a basic card plus instructions.
- I added the white ribbon on the pull mechanism.
- Also the balloon, cup cake and sentiment are from Anna Griffin's birthday stickers and sentiments pak on the inside of the card.
- The pink, word patterned paper is from Crafter's Companion's Spring is in the Air, 12x12 paper pak and was cut with a Spellbinders Labels 20 die.
