Pop Up Tower Card!

Well hello blogger friends!!

It's been 2 months since my last post and wow! So much has happened!

My Covid-19 Story.
I came down with cold symptoms (sore throat, congestion, dry cough, some sneezing) on Monday, March 16th, a wk after my last post, and I didn't want to risk any of my clients getting sick, who are my age and older, so I pretty much started my self quarantine then. I talked to my Dr the next day through a phone consult, (they had closed the clinic (Kaiser) and wasn't seeing anybody in house unless it was an emergency) but because I didn't have a fever or any serious problems breathing, he didn't think I needed to be tested and told me if anything changed to let him know right away. So a week and 2 days go by and I spike a fever of 101-102*, called my Dr back and he arranged for me to be tested. 5 days later, on Monday March 30th, he calls me back and tells me I tested positive, but by that time, I had already been in my own quarantine for 2 wks. So the next step, I was suppose to go 3 days without any symptoms before I can totally come out of quarantine. 1 wk goes by, 2 wks go by and I still have symptoms. All the while I'm being monitored by nurses calling me every few days to see how I'm doing and even had our local Health Dept go over a time line with me (back to the 1st of March) to see if there was anyone else I had been in contact with that may have been infected. Thank God I'm not really a social butterfly anymore and there was only one of my friends from church that I was around by their guidelines, but thankfully she didn't get it.
So going on the 3rd wk I called my Dr back and asked to be retested because the symptoms were just not going away, so I was retested, but instead of it taking 5 days to get the results as it did the first time, it only took 1 day, because now they can do the testing in house where before they had to send the tests to the University of Washington to do the testing. So from the time I was 1st tested to now, they've actually come along way as far as how the tests are done. And it came back not found, which is negative.

!!!!!!!! And I am happy to say that I have survived Covid-19!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!

Actually, both my husband and I have survived. After I tested positive, my husband was also tested and his came back positive as well, but his virus count was so low (1-2) that they deemed his test unviable, which means it may as well have been negative it was so low.
And I give God all the glory for His wonder working power and I thank a plethora of friends and family for all their prayers, love and support, for without it we probably wouldn't be here.

Anywho, I have a pop up, tower card to share today!

Pam, so glad that you and your hubby both made it through COVID with no major issues. Now... on to your card. I made one of these several years ago so I know that they take time and creativity. You nailed the creativity with this one. Thanks so much for sharing at the QKR Stampede Challenge. DT Kathy [myasperations.blogspot.com] PS Sorry I'm a bit late at posting this. I have no excuse except that social isolation is making me a bit dingy!!
