I saw this next card (again on you tube) and had to make it, which meant I had to get the dies.
The tutorial is by Christina Griffiths (whom I also get a news letter from) who is also a brilliant card maker. Gorgeous cards, and this one is no exception.
After getting the dies from ebay, (which is a set of 2 for around 25.00)) I went to work. Mine is pretty much exactly like hers, following the tutorial almost to the letter.
Mine and hers are made as a wedding card, but you could make it for anything else; Mother's Day, Easter, sympathy, birthday, anniversary, etc, and can use colored paper.
This is just white on white which is so pretty.
Now that I know how to make it, I'm going to play with different colors and themes.
This also has 3 layers to it, which I guess you have to do if you want to emboss the front without messing up the corner die or vise versa.
Entering in this challenge:
Aud Sentiment - #176 Anything But Birthday
Creative Fingers - #126 Anything Goes
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - #1713 AnythingGoes
I just learned how to use that border die, so fun!
On the back was really pretty too, it has a pocket for an extra sentiment, if you like, made from the other die in the set which is a little smaller than the other. Both dies are glittered.
The two corner dies are from;
-Heartfelt Creations/Spellbinderes: Decorative Blossoms Corner Die
The two sentiment dies I used are:
-Spellbinders Labels 14 & 20
The border dies on the front bottom are:
-Spellbinders A-2 scalloped border one dies
The embossing folder I used is from:
-Crafters Companion and came in the configuration when I bought the Gemini
-Flowers, ribbon, glitter and pearls, are from my stash
Made the triple bow with the:
-Bow it all by Zutters
Hope you enjoyed taking a look.
Thanks and blessings!
