Catch the Bug- *distressed, monochrome, senti
(my bingo line's a little wonky, but hey, I got 3 of them on there!)

I was on Pinterest/Youtube watchin' a bunch of videos, when I noticed this cool lookin' art this one gal was makin'. She was actually using acrylic paint on a canvas, but as I scrolled down the right side I saw another gal using the same technique, but on paper to make cards! Eureka! So, of coarse, I had to give it a go. It's called "String Pulling". It took a few tries to find the right string, inks and saturation, but here's what I came up with.

You normally use inks, but I saw my black or anthracite Viva Pearl Pen and thought, "why not!" It came out with this monochrome look that I think is awesome! I love how it looks like calla lilies.

There was a bit of a gap on the left side that I tried to fill in with a fan brush that filled in a little too much, but oh well.   Is that not cool or what!!!

Here's some of my earlier attempts where I was trying different inks.

Believe it or not, these inks are Bingo dawbers I inherited from my mom after she passed, that I've had for 13 yrs and never knew what to do with them, Perfect!!

This one is ink and acrylic paint. First time I've used my acrylic paints in I don't know how many years, probably 15. I was surprised they weren't dried up.

How fun is that!!!! I had a blast playing with these.
Thanks for stoppin' by!
And thanks to all the challengers above for lettin' me play along.
Blessings!
